Let the thaw begin!

Spring!  The start of the spring market is fast approaching.  From March into June Edmonton’s Real Estate sales are traditionally at their peak.  Many homeowners who are planning on selling their homes during this time are already primping and preparing their properties to get them ready for sale and buyers are starting to stalk the MLS for daily new listings so they do not miss out on the home of their dreams.

Now is the time for sellers to start getting your home ready for sale.  It’s time to do the big spring clean, evaluate what improvements are needed and start staging your homes to look fabulous for those ever eager buyers.  If you are planning on a spring sale, I always recommend having a Realtor come and give you an evaluation on your property.  Getting an opinion on what can make your property more saleable is really the first and most important step.  Having the advice on what buyers are looking for is critical in having a smooth start when your home first hits the MLS.  Competition is fierce with many homes in the same neighbourhoods fighting for the buyers to choose and buy their property, with the best features and at the best price.  If you are planning to sell during this time, feel free to give me a call and I would be more than happy to start working with you to get you on the right track.
